Roma Jazz Festival
2025 edition — Harmony
For its 2025 edition, Roma Jazz Festival explores spirituality as the core of its visual identity, interpreting jazz as an inner and transcendent journey.
The concept is expressed through the metaphor of the landscape — conceived as an immersive, contemplative space inspired by contemporary environmental art practices.
In celebration of the centenary of John Coltrane, the identity system is generated from the prayer he wrote for A Love Supreme. The text becomes the starting point of a generative process in which typography dissolves into abstract graphic matter, forming layered visual fields that shape the festival’s key visuals. Language transforms into atmosphere: a meditative and evolving identity where sound, landscape, and spirituality converge.

A generative visual campaign
The generative visual language of the identity transforms typography into abstract landscapes, where letters dissolve into layered textures and atmospheric fields. Rooted in a generative system, the design evolves directly from the source text, allowing each composition to emerge as a unique visual interpretation.
